Hyatt Corporation decided in 1999 to look at strategies to develop its presence and brand awareness in the international market place. We wanted to stimulate sales and interest in the North America and Caribbean Hyatt properties, over 115 at that time, in the most efficient and cost effective way possible. We chose Discover the World Marketing after endorsing the way in which they could provide us with a global network, centralized support and communication. Their local knowledge and seamless approach as Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, combined with an understanding of Hyatt, takes the unfamiliarity out of the over 40 markets that we wanted to have a presence in.
